Execution Management Specialist (Secret Clearance Required)
About The Position
ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The Execution Management Specialist will provide financial, budgetary, and program execution support for Science and Technology (S&T) initiatives within the Office of Naval Research. The selected candidate will support budget formulation, financial execution, contract management, and project tracking activities to ensure successful program performance and compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policies. The Execution Management Specialist will work closely with Government leadership, Program Officers, Business Financial Managers, and stakeholders to support financial planning, reporting, and execution activities across a diverse portfolio of research and development programs. The role requires expertise in financial management, budgeting, project management, and the use of financial systems and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting complex research and development programs in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance
- Professional Project Management certification (PMP, DAWIA certification, FAC-P/PM certification, or Project/Program Management degree)
- At least ten (10) years of experience in project management, contract management, financial management, and/or budgeting
- At least five (5) years of experience in financial management and budgeting
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and financial databases and web-based applications
- Experience working with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial systems
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of and experience supporting the ONR Science and Technology portfolio
- Experience working with ONR financial processes, procedures, and systems, including Navy ERP
- Experience managing technology programs
Responsibilities
- Provide financial, budgetary, and program execution support for Science and Technology (S&T) initiatives within the Office of Naval Research.
- Support budget formulation, financial execution, contract management, and project tracking activities.
- Ensure successful program performance and compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policies.
