About The Position

Provide the engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up required for the safe and efficient drilling and completion of drilling programs. Ensure well objectives are met while applying the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of industry experience; for a deep-water drilling engineering position, the experience must be in deep-water drilling operations.
• Ability to effectively organize and communicate thoughts.
• Experience with well design software and Microsoft applications.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Industry experience with well planning and execution.
• Meet all conditional job offer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Generate and evaluate well conceptual designs to meet agreed well objectives.
• Refine selected well concepts into executable, AFE-level (CP4) costed well designs.
• Provide input into the AFE sanction process and other internal and external approvals.
• Develop comparative risk assessments of well concepts during Select work phases.
• Exhibit safe behaviors when on company property or conducting company business.
• Comply with all SSHE policies and standards.
• Apply the SSHE Management System as appropriate to the relevant area of the business.
• Comply with the Company's Well Design and Operations Management Standards, statutory regulations, and industry guidance notes.
