Requirements
- A Florida Staff Credential (one of the following): ----Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC), ----Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC), ----National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC), or ----Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
- Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework (preferred, not required)
- Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Provide constant supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child within the learning center
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
- Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to promote a positive and cohesive team environment
- Screen and assess children to determine developmental and educational needs
