About The Position

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator conducts daily activities associated with trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation safely and efficiently. The role involves operating and setting up equipment, assisting with pipe and manhole rehabilitation work, and supporting restoration and cleanup. The position requires excavator experience, a Class 7B Operators license, and the ability to work in extreme environments and confined spaces.

Requirements

• Possess and demonstrate proficiency in the listed responsibilities.
• Demonstrate good communication and interaction skills.
• Be able to operate a skid-steer loader.
• Possess a Class 7B Operators license.
• Be accurate, detailed, reliable, and able to follow project and task directions with minimal supervision.
• Be proactive and able to troubleshoot.
• Have a solid understanding of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions, and confined spaces.
• Be in fit physical condition.

• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check and fuel vehicles, perform light mechanical adjustments, and assist mechanics with repairs on assigned equipment.
• Set up trench jacks.
• Distribute notices to residents and businesses as instructed.
• Chip and repair manholes.
• Fuse pipe.
• Set up winches and connect hoses.
• Assist with liner installation, operate the inverter, and cut liner.
• Perform restoration and cleanup.
• Connect services.
• Set up and load equipment.
• Use all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
