About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates an excavator during night shift quarry operations to support material production. The operator will load, move, and stockpile raw materials to maintain an efficient workflow, perform routine equipment inspections, and follow site safety procedures. Collaboration with plant and quarry team members is essential to meet nightly production goals.

Requirements

• Demonstrated capability to operate excavator equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to established procedures
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shift hours
• Dependable, team-oriented approach to meeting production objectives
• Physical capability and coordination to perform essential job functions
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating heavy equipment
• Ability to climb on and off equipment using ladders and steps
• Ability to use hands and feet for repetitive motions, controls, and fine motor coordination
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items typically weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Ability to visually assess surroundings and hear warning signals or communications
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
