About The Position

OCL Group Inc. (OCL) is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our Midstream project. OCL is a 100% Canadian, employee-owned general contractor providing design-build solutions across Western Canada in the energy and municipal infrastructure markets since 2009. Our business model is centered around "People and Doing the Job Right". This is a camp-based position requiring H2S Alive certification. The site is clean-shaven, and candidates must provide their own FR clothing. The shift is to be determined, and the start date is ASAP.

Requirements

5+ years previous experience operating an excavator in an industrial construction setting
Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Strong communication skills
Valid Ground Disturbance ticket
Familiarity with GPS and other tracking devices
Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
H2S Alive certification
Must be clean-shaven
Must bring own FR clothing

Responsibilities

Ability to safely operate excavator
Work cooperatively with crew to accomplish tasks
Consistently monitor and maintain compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Ensure a safe team environment
Perform daily routine maintenance on machine including lubrication and monitor needed repairs/service requirements
Operate equipment while maintaining proper awareness of surroundings
Understand and complete pre and post safety checks
Compliance with all safety regulations
Various other duties assigned
