About The Position

We are looking for a full-time equipment operator to dig trenches for electrical conduits on solar projects in the Eastern Shore / Maryland area. The Equipment Operator safely operates various pieces of heavy equipment in the solar/electrical industry.

Requirements

Erosion control experience required.
Must wear required PPE.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies.
Must follow all environmental regulations and clean up any excess material that could cause environmental problems.
Must lock and secure assigned equipment daily at the end of the shift or as otherwise required.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment (excavator, backhoe, and other heavy equipment)
Keep equipment and site clean at all times.
Erosion and sediment control
Perform all pre and post-trip inspections and complete daily inspection reports.
Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Follow proper procedures and complete required documentation
Understand and comply with all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies.
Wear required PPE.
Follow all environmental regulations and clean up any excess material that could cause environmental problems.
Lock and secure assigned equipment daily at the end of the shift or as otherwise required,
Perform miscellaneous duties and outside labor as requested, which may include, but not limited to, cleaning up around the site, sweeping, shoveling, picking up equipment or supplies.
