About The Position

This role helps protect the integrity of our global credentialing programs and assessments, ensuring our exams remain fair, secure and trusted worldwide. Working as part of a small, high-trust team, you will review incident information from global testing operations, support investigations into potential misconduct or security concerns, manage policy exceptions, and contribute to policy and process improvements as exam security risks evolve. The emphasis is thoughtful triage, accurate case handling, confidential information management and clear collaboration across Exam Operations, Legal, Professional Conduct, Candidate Services and Vendor Management.

Requirements

  • Experience in investigative, analytical or case-based work, such as compliance, risk, fraud, insurance claims, testing operations, candidate issue resolution or similar judgement-led environments.
  • Evidence of critical thinking and independent judgement, including assessing ambiguous information, deciding what action is needed, and knowing when to collaborate or escalate.
  • Comfort reviewing high volumes of incident, case or operational information with accuracy, consistency and discretion.
  • Experience working with policies, processes or case management environments, with the ability to document actions and decisions clearly.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to work with functions such as lookups and pivot tables; Salesforce or similar case management system experience is helpful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the maturity to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • A self-directed working style, with curiosity, calm judgement and the confidence to ask good questions when evidence is incomplete.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in testing, assessment, credentialing, education administration or exam operations.
  • Exposure to policy development, operational process improvement or emerging security-risk work.

Responsibilities

  • Review and triage high volumes of test-centre incident reports, identifying cases that may indicate security risk, misconduct or policy concern.
  • Support investigations into potential exam security issues, documenting findings and recommending appropriate action or escalation.
  • Manage security-related policy exceptions, including ID, passport and candidate edge cases, applying policy consistently and with sound judgement.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders on sensitive security-related matters.
  • Contribute to updates to exam security policies, procedures and guidance as risks evolve, including emerging threats linked to technology and testing behaviour.
  • Support initiatives that protect CFA Institute exam content and intellectual property, including copyright processes and employee candidate conflict controls.
  • Use Excel, case management tools and incident data to track issues, identify patterns and support evidence-based decisions.
