About The Position
FindTutors is a leading platform for private tutoring and personalised education in the United Kingdom. We connect students with qualified tutors across academic subjects and languages, making learning flexible, accessible, and results-driven. We are currently looking for motivated and knowledgeable Exam Preparation Tutors to join our growing team. This is a flexible opportunity to support students preparing for key academic assessments, including GCSEs, A-Levels, IELTS, and other important exams, through online or in-person tutoring. As an Exam Preparation Tutor, you will help learners of all ages strengthen their subject knowledge, improve exam techniques, and build confidence to achieve their academic goals. You will deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions, focusing on revision support, exam practice, and effective study strategies tailored to each student’s needs.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in at least one academic subject (Maths, English, Science, Languages, Music, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable teaching online or in person
- No prior tutoring experience required
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with GCSE, A-Level, IELTS, or similar exams
- Experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 online or in-person tutoring sessions
- Support students with revision, exam practice, and study techniques
- Help learners understand exam formats and assessment criteria
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve performance
