Huntington Learning Center is hiring tutors to teach either math/science or reading/English for the ACT and SAT exams. This position is ideal for graduate students, research scholars, and new or retired math teachers. Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in English Grammar and Punctuation (for ELA tutors).
- Proficiency in Reading Comprehension (for ELA tutors).
- Proficiency in at least three of the following math areas: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus (for Math tutors).
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach math/science or reading/English for the ACT and SAT exams.
- Utilize provided curriculum; no lesson plans are required.
