About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of the EVS Shift Supervisor, the EVS Worker contributes to the efficient daily operation of Environmental Service activities by providing cleaning services in assigned areas in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. The role requires maintaining professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
One (1) year of housekeeping, custodial, or related experience.
A combination of relevant education and related work experience may be considered.
Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to licensing rules and regulations.
Pre-employment drug screen.
Personal reference check and employment verification.
Conducts Federal, State, and tribal criminal history in accordance with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Gaming Commission Regulation, Part 400.7, Background Investigations.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, and scrubs floors.
Dusts and polishes furniture.
Cleans customer and gaming areas and device surfaces.
Washes windows, walls, and mirrors.
Cleans, sanitizes, and deodorizes restrooms; replaces soap and paper products.
Empties and cleans waste receptacles and ashtrays; disposes of trash appropriately.
Vacuums carpets.
Cleans vents and light fixtures.
Replaces light bulbs.
Notifies supervisor of potential problems or repair needs.
Assists with moving and unloading supplies, furniture, and equipment.
Sets up and tears down meeting facilities as needed.
Delivers lost and found items to Security.
Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
