About The Position

Stella Maris is a recognized provider of skilled nursing care, outpatient rehabilitation, and short-term rehabilitation at its campus in Timonium, Maryland. The EVS Technician cleans resident and patient rooms, offices, and public areas, following department procedures for daily cleaning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean assigned resident and patient rooms daily, including dust mopping and wet mopping floors, high and low dusting, disinfecting bed frames, and spot-cleaning walls.
• Clean residents’ and patients’ restrooms and public restrooms on the unit daily according to department procedures.
• Clean unit common areas, including the nurse’s station, solarium, laundry room, and linen room.
• Wipe down lounge chairs throughout the unit.
• Damp dust and mop assigned resident and patient rooms and empty their trash.
• Empty trash from resident and patient rooms and common areas.
