About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician I performs daily duties to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. The role involves contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff, with interactions appropriate to the demographics of patients served in assigned areas.

The technician supports timely room turns for patient throughput while following environmental hygiene and infection prevention principles. In accordance with organizational quality standards, the role contributes to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and patient experience. This is a full-time position with 40 weekly hours on the day shift.

Requirements

• Demonstrates oral communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to promote and maintain cooperative and courteous relationships with team members, patients, visitors, doctors, and others.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
