Requirements
- High School Graduate General Studies or High School GED
- Previous hospital or hotel experience
Responsibilities
- Provide critical environmental services and meticulous attention to cleanliness, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Expertly clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces.
- Manage waste disposal.
- Operate specialized equipment.
- Meticulously follow infection control protocols to maintain impeccable standards.
- Follows standard precautions while on duty.
- Ensures a safe environment: clearly identifies areas that are wet or when surfaces are unsafe for walking.
- Respects patient/family privacy and confidentiality.
- Allows for culture and religious beliefs in providing services.
- Approaches a child in a calm manner.
- Explains procedures before starting.
