About The Position

The EVS Specialist is responsible for maintaining assigned areas, completing tasks as assigned by a supervisor, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility. This includes cleaning various surfaces, restrooms, and equipment, as well as restocking supplies and performing specialized cleaning procedures when necessary. Team members are expected to adhere to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, proactively engaging with guests and colleagues, and participating in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift sessions. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and may involve overtime.

Requirements

• Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies
• Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas
• Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor
• Clean and maintain slot machines and stands
• Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention
• Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
• Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns
• Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed)
• Perform proper and trained cleaning procedures when bloodborne pathogens are involved
• Clean and maintain areas as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
• Vacuum as assigned
• Remove trash as assigned
• Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned
• Mopping floors
• Operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)
• Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy
• Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned
