About The Position
The EVS Specialist is responsible for maintaining assigned areas, completing tasks as assigned by their supervisor, and adhering to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. This role involves proactive guest and team member interaction, maintaining a positive and welcoming environment, and participating in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. Team members are expected to be "on stage" when on the floor, meaning they should be attentive and ready to engage.
Requirements
- Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)
- All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
- It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily.
- Team members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”.
- Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned areas
- Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor
- Clean and maintain slot machines and stands
- Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention
- Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
- Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns
- Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed)
- Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when bloodborne pathogens are involved
- Clean and maintain areas as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
- Vacuum as assigned
- Remove trash as assigned
- Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned
- Mopping floors
- Operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)
- Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy
- Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions
