About The Position

The EVS Specialist is responsible for maintaining assigned areas, completing tasks as directed by their supervisor, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility. This includes cleaning floors, slot machines, restrooms, and various surfaces. The role also involves restocking supplies, handling bloodborne pathogens according to proper procedures, and performing tasks such as vacuuming and trash removal. Team members are expected to adhere to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which emphasizes proactive guest and team member interaction, and participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.

Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)

Responsibilities

Maintain assigned areas
Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor
Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor
Clean and maintain slot machines and stands
Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention
Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns
Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed)
Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when bloodborne pathogens are involved
Clean and maintain areas as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
Vacuum as assigned
Remove trash as assigned
Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned
Mopping floors
Operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)
Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which includes acknowledging guests and team members within 10 feet, initiating friendly verbal greetings within 5 feet, keeping head up and looking around, and looking for opportunities to greet guests and others.
Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
