About The Position

Responsible for assisting with managing and coordinating the daily operations of the EVS Department on assigned shift. Ensures that all areas of the casino are clean and meet OSHA/safety standards.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• Knowledgeable about proper EVS techniques
• Ability to implement and handle chemicals
• Familiarity with OSHA/safety requirements
• Ability to use all EVS machinery and chemicals
• Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.

Nice To Haves

• 3-6 months related experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with managing and coordinating the daily operations of the EVS Department on assigned shift.
• Ensuring that all areas of the casino are clean and meet OSHA/safety standards.
• Providing excellent internal/external guest service.
• Assisting with personnel-related matters including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching.
• Monitoring work performance to ensure the overall cleanliness of designated areas.
• Assisting with inventory upkeep for the department.
• Training staff in the proper use of equipment and upkeep.
• Training and monitoring the use of all chemicals.
• Handling guest complaints and concerns.
• Assisting with requisitions, reports, correspondence, and forms related to the operations of the department.
• Performing other reasonable duties as assigned.
