About The Position

ServiceMaster Clean is hiring a part-time Environmental Services Technician to help protect the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining clean and sanitized medical facilities. The role includes specialized cleaning and disinfection, general space maintenance, use of protective equipment, stocking supplies, and responding to cleaning needs. Training is provided. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, with another Thursday, for approximately four hours each evening. The start time is flexible after 5 p.m. Compensation is $19.00–$22.00 per hour. This franchise is independently owned and operated; hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to stand, walk, push, and lift up to 25 pounds during a shift.
Ability to follow protocols and use cleaning products appropriately, especially in sensitive environments.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasked setting.
Team-oriented mindset and respect for coworkers, customers, and patients.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect procedure rooms, restrooms, and common areas to help protect against pathogens.
Sweep, mop, polish, dust, and remove trash in medical facilities.
Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Maintain inventory of supplies so tools and products are ready when needed.
Respond quickly and effectively to cleaning needs that arise.
