About The Position

The EVS Attendant is responsible for cleaning various areas within the facility, including ash urns, carpets, furniture, offices, and restrooms. This role involves dusting, polishing, and mopping floors, as well as cleaning brass, glass, mirrors, counters, millwork, baseboards, and doors. The attendant must be familiar with the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. In restricted casino areas, a security escort may be required. The position is located in a cigarette smoke environment. Additionally, the attendant is expected to anticipate guest needs, provide fast and flawless service, execute service programs, ensure guest satisfaction, resolve problems using the Service Recovery process, promote Total Rewards programs, and project a positive image of the company.

Requirements

• Physically Strong
• Can work in a smoke-filled environment
• Can sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Cleans all assigned rooms to company standard within designated work period
• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shift
• Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately
• Follows lost and found policies and procedures
• Plans, organizes and completes work timely
• Takes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist guests with their needs
• Accepts feedback and coaching from supervisors
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proficient in English verbal and written
• Proficient with iOS devices
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
