About The Position

Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming is a newly constructed facility in a high-traffic area in Calvert City, Kentucky at the intersection of I-69 and I-24. The Property will feature nearly 240 state-of-the-art historical racing machines (“HRMs”), a sports bar and a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering, and food and beverage offerings. The EVS Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment throughout the property. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing gaming machines, bases, and surrounding areas; ashtrays; trash receptacles; restrooms; offices; public spaces; windows; countertops; furniture; and decorative objects in the facility or common areas.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout all assigned areas.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
• Be comfortable working in smoking areas for extended periods.
• Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
• Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
• The employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The employee may also be required to lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize gaming machines, including spaces between machines and bases.
• Maintain cleanliness of ashtrays, trashcans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, countertops, furniture, and decorative objects.
• Vacuum and clean carpets.
• Promptly clean spills and remove bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.
• Maintain utility carts fully stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered floor care equipment.
• Assist with other cleaning tasks and projects as assigned.
• Circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and the functioning of machines.
