About The Position
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a clean and hygienic environment throughout the casino premises, ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests and staff. The EVS Cleaner will perform cleaning duties in various areas including restrooms, gaming floors, dining areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Requirements
- High School/GED
- 3-6 Months related experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, such as bright lights, excessive noise, human bodily fluids, and bio-chemicals
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Bending
- Lifting up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across assigned areas such as restrooms, gaming floors, dining spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Monitor restroom hygiene and replenish supplies.
- Sanitize fixtures for guest comfort.
- Maintain cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Document tasks and issues encountered during shifts.
- Perform other assigned duties to support overall operations effectively.
