EVS Attendant
About The Position
The EVS Attendant cleans and maintains the appearance of the Casino public areas and public restrooms. Maintains the cleanliness of the facility (inside/outside) during the duration of shift. Answers calls promptly and in a polite, friendly manner. Cleans public rest rooms including scrubbing toilets, sinks, flooring, etc. Responds to biohazard situations, cleaning the area thoroughly and in a timely manner. Empties trash cans and takes out trash. Stocks supplies in EVS closets at end of shift. Assists others as needed with their assigned area. Completes assignments with little or no supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of various cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment used in maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols when handling cleaning chemicals, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
- Ability to efficiently manage time to complete cleaning tasks promptly without disrupting casino operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and casino guests.
- Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D.
- All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
