EVS Associate II - Carmel 1.0 E
About The Position
The EVS Associate II performs special floor project work throughout the facility, using different types of floor care equipment. The position includes all extraction techniques for carpet cleaning and other surfaces. They are responsible for completing all types of trash collection, and coordinating operations, including removing waste, operating compactor or other related equipment, and signing waste manifests. The EVS Associate II is trained in the functions of a EVS Associate I in order to assist with the cleaning of the hospital when required, and performs duties in other departments based on needs of the facility. - 1 year Housekeeping Required
- Dept of Trans Training (DOTTRN) - . DOT training completed through hazardous waste vendor

Responsibilities
- Performs special floor project work throughout the facility, using different types of floor care equipment.
- Includes all extraction techniques for carpet cleaning and other surfaces.
- Completes all types of trash collection, and coordinating operations, including removing waste, operating compactor or other related equipment, and signing waste manifests.
- Assists with the cleaning of the hospital when required.
- Performs duties in other departments based on needs of the facility.
- Cleans and disinfects floors using hospital-specific equipment, including microfiber cloths, wet mops, etc.
- Cleans and sanitizes surfaces, such as over-bed tables, counters, and furniture, toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, walls, floors, and mirrors.
- Cleans and sanitizes vertical surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, and windows.
- Ensures cleanliness of high dust surfaces, such as picture frames, vents, and doorframes.
- Inspects rooms for proper cleaning, and reports any safety or maintenance issues.
- Removes trash and linen, cleans receptacles, and ensures they are prepared for next use.
- Restocks paper, hand sanitizer and hand soap supplies.
