About The Position

Franciscan Health Crown Point is seeking an EVS Associate I to maintain cleanliness of facilities, restock supplies, clean and sanitize areas, ensure rooms are free of trash, and provide linen services. This role involves caring for and cleaning equipment, reporting any damages or safety issues to a Supervisor, and maintaining a strong knowledge of department policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Maintains cleanliness of facilities
Restocks supplies
Cleans and sanitizes facilities
Ensures rooms are free of trash
Provides linen services
Cares for and cleans any equipment used
Reports any damages or safety issues to their Supervisor
Maintains a strong knowledge of department policies and procedures
Cleans and disinfects floors using hospital-specific equipment, including microfiber cloths, wet mops, etc.
Cleans and sanitizes surfaces, such as over-bed tables, counters, and furniture, toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, walls, floors, and mirrors.
Cleans and sanitizes vertical surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, and windows.
Ensures cleanliness of high dust surfaces, such as picture frames, vents, and doorframes.
Inspects rooms for proper cleaning, and reports any safety or maintenance issues.
Removes trash and linen, cleans receptacles, and ensures they are prepared for next use.
Restocks paper, hand sanitizer and hand soap supplies.
