DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem EVS Aide for our Thousand Oaks location. This position will have a varied schedule, Monday - Friday, dependent on business needs.

Requirements

• Prior EVS background required, adhering to strict infection control guidelines and comprehensive understanding of OSHA guidelines
• The ability to lift 25 lbs
• Familiarity with medical terminology, equipment, and operating room protocols

Nice To Haves

• Sterile processing expertise is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of the facility, patient care area and staff spaces
• Equipment maintenance
• Handle specimen transport
• Assist with room turnover and case set up
• Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR, including discharge
• Load, unload and stock supplies
• Provide pre-op support and aid the OR team in positioning of patients and preparation
