About The Position
Join our team as an EVS Aide to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for meticulous cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and common areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Requirements
- One (1) year housekeeping experience required, preferably in a hospital or medical setting.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfectant product
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, patient rooms, and public areas according to hospital standards.
- Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and regular waste.
- Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
- Follow all safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
- Ensure EVS closets and equipment are clean, organized, and secure.
