About The Position

BGB Group delivers breakthrough commercial solutions for the life sciences industry, leveraging medical insight, behavioral science, data, strategy, and creativity. The company has developed sophisticated AI-powered solutions to enhance commercial decision-making and market engagement, which serve as a meaningful competitive differentiator. BGB is now seeking an EVP, AI Transformation to lead the next phase of its evolution: embedding AI into the core of how the company operates. This executive will join the Executive Leadership Team and report directly to the CEO. The mandate for this role is to lead BGB’s transition toward an AI-first enterprise operating model, applying innovation to how work is performed across the organization. This involves redesigning workflows, integrating intelligent systems, and creating an operating model that enables BGB to deliver greater impact for clients with increased speed, scale, and precision. The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring the leader to personally prototype and deploy AI systems in the early stages while building a small technical capability responsible for scaling those systems across the company. The role will also help ensure that AI-enabled transformation strengthens BGB’s long-term business model, creating new ways to deliver value to clients while maintaining competitive differentiation in the market.

Requirements

Experience building and deploying AI-powered systems, not just managing them.
Strong fluency in AI and LLM ecosystems, APIs, and agent architectures.
Experience developing custom GPTs, AI agents, or similar intelligent systems.
Deep expertise in workflow and process automation.
Experience driving technology-enabled operating model transformation.
Understanding of enterprise data integration and governance.
Ability to analyze and redesign complex workflows using intelligent systems.
Business model awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to create value through AI-enabled capabilities.
Executive-level communication skills translating technical capability into enterprise and client value.
Strategic vision paired with practical execution.
Experience leading AI or operating model transformation within a consulting firm, agency, technology company, or other complex professional services organization.

Responsibilities

Lead BGB’s transition toward an AI-first enterprise operating model.
Redesign workflows, integrate intelligent systems, and create an operating model that enables BGB to deliver greater impact for clients with increased speed, scale, and precision.
Personally prototype and deploy AI systems in the early stages.
Build a small technical capability responsible for scaling AI systems across the company.
Help ensure that AI-enabled transformation strengthens BGB’s long-term business model, creating new ways to deliver value to clients while maintaining competitive differentiation in the market.
Design and implement an operating framework that embeds AI, automation, and agentic systems into core workflows across Communications, Consulting, and shared enterprise functions.
Develop and deploy custom GPTs, AI agents, and workflow automation systems that streamline complex work, reduce manual effort, and improve delivery speed and consistency.
Analyze end-to-end workflows across the organization and redesign them using AI-enabled processes that increase throughput, scalability, and operational leverage.
Establish and lead a small technical capability responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving internal AI systems and automation tools.
Identify ways AI-enabled capabilities can expand how BGB delivers value to clients, strengthening both the firm’s competitive position and its long-term business model.
