About The Position

Xplor Technologies is at the forefront of developing innovative payment solutions. Our mission is to simplify payments and streamline financial transactions for our Vertical SaaS partners. We are seeking an AI Transformation Lead, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), to spearhead the next phase of our innovation and evolution. The AI Transformation Lead is responsible for defining, owning, and executing the organization’s artificial intelligence strategy. This role bridges business objectives, product vision, and technical capabilities to ensure AI investments drive measurable value. The AI Transformation Lead partners closely with executive leadership, product, engineering, data, legal, and operations teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and scale responsible AI adoption across the company. This role is equal parts strategist, translator, and operator - setting direction while ensuring real world execution.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in strategy, product, data, technology, or consulting roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI, data, or advanced analytics initiatives from strategy to execution
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, generative AI, and data-driven systems (technical depth without needing to code daily)
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate at the executive level

Responsibilities

  • AI Strategy & Vision: Define and maintain a clear, company-wide AI strategy aligned with business goals and long-term roadmap
  • AI Strategy & Vision: Identify high-impact AI use cases across products, operations, risk, customer experience, and internal workflows
  • AI Strategy & Vision: Establish success metrics (ROI, efficiency, quality, revenue impact) for AI initiatives
  • Portfolio & Program Leadership: Own the AI initiative portfolio: prioritization, sequencing, and resourcing
  • Portfolio & Program Leadership: Translate business problems into AI opportunities and ensure solutions are pragmatic and scalable
  • Portfolio & Program Leadership: Drive pilots from concept to production, ensuring measurable outcomes
  • Portfolio & Program Leadership: Sunset or pivot initiatives that do not deliver value
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver AI solutions
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Act as the primary interface between executive leadership and technical teams for AI-related decisions
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Ensure AI initiatives are embedded into core workflows, not isolated experiments
  • Governance, Risk & Responsible AI: Establish AI governance frameworks covering transparency, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Governance, Risk & Responsible AI: Ensure responsible use of generative AI, machine learning, and automation technologies
