About The Position

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join their Events Team. This team is crucial for delivering a fun, welcoming, and family-friendly experience at the 'Party in the Park' events held before home games. 'Party in the Park' is described as a hype zone filled with games, entertainment, and fun, aimed at enhancing the Rider Nation fan experience. Team members will support the setup, execution, and teardown of these pre-game tailgate events outside Mosaic Stadium. No prior experience is required, only a positive and willing attitude.

Requirements

• Can-do attitude with willingness and excitement to help in all areas.
• Physical stamina, high energy levels, and ability to support labor tasks that may include lifting.
• Availability for all Party in the Park events prior to Saskatchewan Roughriders Home Games.
• Flexibility is required as set up and tear down may take longer for some games.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, teardown, and operation of all Party in the Park events, including inflatables, tents, games, tables, and chairs.
• Execute Party in the Park activations such as games, entertainment, and KidZone activities.
• Liaise with Partners, vendors, and entertainers for their setup and logistical needs.
• Ensure event areas are organized, safe, and ready for fans before gates open.
• Welcome and interact with fans in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor activity areas during the event to ensure equipment is used safely and properly.
• Support the breakdown and packing of equipment after the event.
• Have the opportunity to work other Roughrider Club Events as needed.
