Events Team Member
About The Position
The Community First Champion Center is a premier indoor sports complex located in Grand Chute, Wisconsin. The Champion Center hosts a wide variety of youth and amateur sporting events throughout the year, with a primary focus on basketball, volleyball, hockey, figure skating, and wrestling. In addition to hosting approximately 60–75 youth sporting events annually, the facility also hosts showcases, leagues, camps and clinics, and team practices. We are seeking energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Events Team on a part-time basis. Events Team Members play an important role in creating a positive experience for athletes, coaches, and spectators during tournaments and events.
Requirements
- Must be over 16 years of age
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Flexible work schedule (weekends, nights, holidays and long hours)
- Excellent guest service skills
- Previous customer service, concessions, or cash handling experience is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Operating the concession stand
- Running ticket and admission registers
- Checking wristbands and monitoring admissions areas
- Cleaning and maintaining the facility throughout events
- Assisting guests and providing excellent customer service
- Supporting event operations as needed
