About The Position

The Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, conferences, social events, and special functions at the StateView Hotel. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations, ensuring seamless event execution and an exceptional guest experience. The position requires a full-time, on-site presence to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned group and event clients from contract turnover through event completion
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Catering, Banquets, Culinary, AV, and Front Office teams
  • Conduct pre-event planning meetings and post-event follow-ups
  • Ensure event details are accurately documented and communicated across departments
  • Monitor event timelines, room setups, food and beverage service, and audiovisual needs
  • Manage on-site event execution, including client walk-throughs and day-of coordination
  • Resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records, contracts, BEOs, and billing documentation
  • Uphold brand standards and hotel service expectations
