About The Position

Villagio Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Event Manager! The Event Manager emotionally connects with our guests to create a memorable experience. This position oversees weddings and corporate events at Brentsville Hall. He/she must exceed the guest experience by aspiring to go above and beyond in providing exceptional service.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency required
  • Three to five years of previous events experience, preferably in the wedding industry
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Tripleseat

Responsibilities

  • Deliver genuine hospitality to our guests
  • Establish key relationships with clients to ensure maximum exposure and increase revenue
  • Capture content to be published on social media throughout events
  • Planning and execution of all events on-site
  • Managing all guest interactions in preparation and day-of event
  • Manage the timeline and task list for all events
  • Attend planning and production meetings and discussions
  • Organize and lead collaboration with the Banquet Captain and team on event concept, design, production, and execution
  • Coordinate services with vendors; book event supplies, order supplies as needed
  • Coordinate the logistics for all events with Banquet Captain, Day-Of Coordinator, Corporate P.O.C.
  • Manage the staff that is working at each event
  • Work with venue to create and revise room layouts and seating arrangements for each event as necessary
  • Capture all opportunities of day-of sales during the event
  • Manage on-site production and clean-up for events
  • Manage all guests’ needs
  • Manage follow-up with vendors, sponsors, and staff members following each event
  • Responsible for keeping the building in like new condition
  • Adhere to our alcohol awareness procedures
  • Adhere to, and enforce all sales policies, practices, and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as required
