Under the direction of the Senior Sales and Events Manager, this role assists in managing the execution, breakdown, and billing of events, including corporate retreats, social gatherings, and small weddings across Inns of Aurora properties. The position requires coordinating and communicating event details, organizing setup lists, and creating schedules for event setup, service, and breakdown. The Events Manager will also facilitate internal meetings, greet clients, and ensure events progress seamlessly by following established procedures and collaborating with other employees. This role acts as a liaison between the salesperson and customer, ensuring event services teams understand expectations and delivering excellent customer service. Additionally, the role is responsible for billing accuracy, integrating current trends in event management, identifying and solving operational challenges, soliciting feedback for improvement, assisting in recruiting and training event teams, participating in customer site inspections, facilitating beverage orders, and performing other duties as assigned.
