About The Position

JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery is seeking Part-Time Events Lead team members to assist in executing on-site winery events, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience. This role involves close collaboration with the Events Manager and other hospitality teams to deliver exceptional experiences that align with the JUSTIN brand. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about hospitality, and enthusiastic about wine, food, and events. Responsibilities include assisting with event setup, service, coordination, and breakdown while upholding the high standards of the JUSTIN brand. This is a part-time position, up to 19 hours per week, scheduled as needed for events and busy weekends. Workdays, hours, and duties will vary based on business needs and event location.

Requirements

Previous events experience in a restaurant, winery or hospitality environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A polished and professional demeanor
Basic wine knowledge or a willingness to learn
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tablescapes, décor, signage, and service stations
Support event execution, ensuring timelines and service standards are met
Provide warm, professional guest service throughout events
Assist with food and wine service, including passing trays and maintaining presentation standards
Coordinate with internal teams (culinary, tasting room, operations) to ensure smooth event flow
Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events
Help manage event inventory, including glassware, linens, and supplies
Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve issues to enhance the overall experience
