About The Position

VODA.ai is seeking a full-time remote Events & Field Marketing Specialist (US: Eastern or Central timezones preferred). As part of the team, you will own the full lifecycle of conferences, hosted events, and webinars — from evaluating opportunities and securing participation, to cross-functional execution, promotion, and structured closeout. Day-to-day tasks may include proactively scouting and evaluating industry events; coordinating end-to-end event logistics (registrations, booth management, shipping, vendors, collateral) and leading cross-functional execution across Marketing, Sales, and Leadership. Events are a critical channel for how VODA.ai shows up in the market. This role requires strong operational rigor, the ability to coordinate across teams, and a mindset focused on improving systems—not just operating them. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and requires the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. Who we are VODA.ai uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help water utilities predict which of their pipes are going to fail or have lead. There are 240,000 pipe breaks each year and millions of people without fresh water, so we are doing something about it. Our software uses our proprietary, built-in-house AI and is used by water utilities and municipalities to help them create better engineering and operations decisions. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in event marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and support a variety of event programs
  • Exceptional operational rigor, time management, and strong follow-through
  • Ability to write clear, professional social media posts and event web copy
  • Confidence and ability to influence key stakeholders to ensure execution
  • Have a strong ownership mindset and don’t wait for instructions when something is unclear
  • Are passionate, energetic, ambitious, and driven to deliver quality results
  • Are interested in using AI tools to increase productivity and improve workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience in a SaaS company
  • Have experience in B2G and/or B2B environments
  • Have collaborated closely with Marketing Managers and Sales teams before
