About The Position

The SMSC and Mystic Lake 10-week summer internship program offers meaningful, hands-on experience that builds professional skills through real-world projects, mentorship, and opportunities to develop lasting connections. This full-time internship is based at the Mystic Lake and Little Six offices in Prior Lake, MN, focusing on inspiring possibilities, fostering meaningful connections, and creating memorable experiences. Interns will engage in various activities, including touring the cultural center, participating in networking events, and team activities, while working on projects that impact the business and learning about the dynamic gaming and entertainment industry. The program emphasizes fun, connecting with fellow interns, and exploring the company's culture and philanthropic efforts. Mystic Lake Casino Hotel® and Little Six Casino® are owned and operated by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC), which also operates diverse enterprises driving the local economy and is a significant philanthropic benefactor. Requirements

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program pertinent to the department/team to which assigned
Basic level skills in word-processing, spreadsheets, or other tools standard to the department/team to which assigned
Demonstrated ability to work with others in a collaborative, team environment
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
