About The Position

To develop and oversee sales campaigns that promote the Casino’s vision. The Events & Entertainment Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing promotions aimed at enhancing guest engagement and driving revenue within the casino. Coordinating oversee all aspects to event planning such as seating, dining rooms and other items for the Bands or events. To assist guests by providing accurate information and efficient enrollment of players’ membership accounts and to promote the benefits of membership to new players.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18.
Requires computer skills.
Requires Gaming License
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 30 pounds daily.
Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in Marketing or related field is preferred.
Prior experience in Marketing or related field is required, preferably in a casino setting.

Responsibilities

Operate and run promotions on the floor.
Must be able to speak on microphone in front of crowds.
Promote Buffalo Run Casino & Resort at all times with energy and enthusiasm.
Update and create property promotions calendars.
Assist with player events and set up.
Assist with concert and ticketed event set up.
Set up promotions in Patron Management and promotional kiosks.
Write and maintain a working knowledge of all promotional rules.
Respond to guests and give feedback.
Maintain familiarity and insure compliance with applicable casino policies and procedures.
Must have flexible schedule for event dates and able to work nights and weekends.
Assist with planning and coordination of events.
Assist with the promotion and execution of events, track ticket sales and update management as often as needed to ensure optimal sales.
Assist with hanging promotional banners and other materials inside the casino.
Perform simple editing to website and design projects if needed.
Maintain Inventory and order supplies when needed.
Communicate all concerns and guest complaints to the Players Club manager.
Assist with the execution of events, Inform Player’s Club manager and marketing manager of all pertinent information that may affect the functioning of events.
Be knowledgeable of casino events, promotions, and operations in order to accurately inform guest.
Obtain and maintain gaming license.
Perform other duties as assigned.
