About The Position

The Entertainment Coordinator is responsible for the planning and coordination of all concerts and events.

Requirements

  • Associate degree plus experience in Entertainment field or 3 years Casino Marketing experience.
  • Knowledge and experience working with entertainment agents and tour management.
  • Experience using and managing event ticketing system for businesses example ticket master or etix.
  • Knowledge and experience coordinating sound and lighting for concerts.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and guest service skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, internet, digital marketing, and office equipment.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and be insurable through Eagle Mountain Casino’s insurance carrier.
  • Willing to attend trainings and train others.
  • Willing to work some nights and weekends.
  • Willing to travel for events and trainings.
  • Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning annual entertainment and events as it pertains to the goals for the company and general marketing department.
  • Responsible to ticketing system, information, costs, and audit reports.
  • Responsible for flow of information by maintaining written and verbal communication amongst all departments to ensure efficient service.
  • Act as a liaison between guest and management as relates to needs of concert guest complaints and concerns.
  • Acts as a liaison for the client and property to ensure successful execution of the event/show.
  • Negotiate and arrange all entertainment offers and agreements with and through entertainers or entertainment agents.
  • Promote travel to the property through implementation of promotions and programs marketed through offices of tourism, convention bureaus, local visitors’ associations, travel agents, events planners, and local business organizations.
  • Arrange for billing or payment in accordance with contract agreement (Deposits, Final payment, Commissions, and accounts payable).
  • Review, negotiates, and arranges all rider agreements.
  • Coordinates all entertainment rider special request and requirements with tour management.
  • Ensure signed contracts and W-9’s are received before each event performance.
  • Order and advance all event supplies needed for production and event operation.
  • Coordinates and communicates with support departments involved in the execution of the events.
  • Coordinates sound preparation for show production with house package and arrange for additional load-in prior to show.
  • Coordinates Lighting preparation for show production with house package and arrange for additional load-in prior to show.
  • Advance show with artist Business Manager, Tour Manager, Road Manager, Production Manager and Technical FOH.
  • Arrange hospitality, catering, hotel accommodations and travel arrangements for visiting entertainers.
  • Facilitate and oversee entertainment venue and event layout depending on performance.
  • Fulfilling request by entertainers, staff, and guest services during events.
  • Assists with production requirements for event set up ticket distribution or collection.
  • Retain information concerning all current promotions, entertainment, and events.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism within the department.
  • Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
  • All other departmental duties as assigned.
