As an Event and Traffic Safety Staff member with the Department of Agriculture, you will help keep the Farm Show complex safe and welcoming. This position allows you to handle a variety of duties, from assisting visitors to monitoring facility conditions. You will use clear communication and problem solving to support smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Complete interior and exterior patrols to maintain a safe environment
- Manage parking areas and maintain steady traffic flow during events
- Provide clear information and assistance to visitors, clients, and participants
- Share important details with supervisors and departments through written and verbal updates
- Respond to alarms and assist emergency teams with accurate location details
- Prepare parking areas, manage lost and found items, and complete daily logs
