About The Position

As an Event Technician at Snowbird, under the direction of the Event Technology Manager, you will be responsible for running lighting, audio, IT, and video systems. You will take direction from management in Food and Beverage, Special Events, and Conference Operations, and assist in any necessary duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, customer service experience, and leadership qualities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 12+ months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver License with a clean MVR (driving record).
• Experience running audio for live bands and operating projection and video switching/scaling equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Some administrative duties exist including billing and labor tracking, as well as other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Mix live sound for bands, performers, and conferences.
• Perform basic networking.
• Video and audio record events.
• Operate large and small venue projection, including knowledge of PowerPoint, and video switching/scaling.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair audio, visual, and lighting equipment before, during, and after events.
• Set up and tear down for events and perform technical functions.
• Develop working relationships with new clients and interact professionally with them at all times, as well as with return customers.
• Help clients meet their expectations for their events using Snowbird's technology.
• Assist other departments within the resort with any needs that may arise.
