About The Position

The Event Support Assistant provides essential administrative support for the Campus Activities Complex (CAC) and serves as the primary point of contact for space inquiries, reservations, and front desk operations. This role is committed to delivering outstanding customer service, supporting students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external guests while ensuring the smooth coordination of space reservations and event logistics. As a member of the Student Engagement and Campus Activities (SECA) team, this role collaborates closely with colleagues in the Student Organizations, Leadership, and Engagement (SOLE) Office and partners with departments across the Institute to support programs, events, and initiatives that enrich campus life. The role also serves as a central resource for information about campus events, event locations, and space availability. Additional responsibilities include scheduling Chapel weddings and similar events, programming access cards for CAC-managed spaces, and overseeing mascot-related programming.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of direct or related experience
