About The Position
GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is partnering with the Oregon State Fair to hire dependable, energetic team members for the 2026 Oregon State Fair. This is a fun, fast-paced seasonal opportunity to be part of one of Oregon's largest annual events. Positions are available in various departments including Parking, Entertainment, Fair Mascot, Fair Lift, and Agriculture.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Must be available for the entire duration of the Oregon State Fair.
- Applicants must be 14 years of age or older for minor-approved positions.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older for departments requiring adult employees.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic and assist guests with parking, maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow.
- Support live performances and special events, assist with crowd management and event operations.
- Represent the Oregon State Fair by portraying the official mascot, interacting with guests and posing for photos.
- Assist with the daily operation of the fairground lift, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride.
- Support livestock and agricultural exhibits, assisting exhibitors and visitors and helping to showcase Oregon's agricultural community.
