Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive in the state of Minnesota.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts
  • Hours will vary weekly – must be available during the week and/or weekends and nights
  • Must comply with organizational and departmental policies.
  • Must comply with data practices policies and standards relative to not public data.
  • Any access to not public data should be strictly limited to accessing the data that are necessary to fulfill the employment responsibility.
  • While data are being accessed, incumbent should take reasonable measures to ensure the not public data are not accessed by individuals without a work reason.
  • Once the work reason to access the data is reasonably finished the not public data must be properly stored according to city policy and the Minnesota Statutes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to guests throughout each event.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with venue standards and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Verify guest identification and age prior to serving alcohol, following all venue policies and responsible alcohol service procedures.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to underage guests, invalid or suspected fraudulent identification, intoxicated guests, and other alcohol-service concerns.
  • Assist with the setup and preparation of bar locations prior to events, including moving equipment, organizing supplies, and stocking products.
  • Assist with tearing down and cleaning bar and service areas following events.
  • Stock, transport, and distribute beverage products and supplies before, during, and after events as needed.
  • Assist other Food & Beverage team members with product movement, event setup, cleanup, and other operational needs.
  • Properly handle glassware, equipment, supplies, and beverage products to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Follow all venue safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and customer service policies.
  • Distribute food and beverage products to designated locations throughout the venue prior to each event.
  • Set up and prepare bar and service locations, including moving equipment, stocking products, and ensuring all service areas and storage spaces are organized, clean, and fully prepared.
  • Assist the Food & Beverage Coordinator with weekly tasks related to event preparation, inventory, organization, and post-event cleanup.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing trash and recycling, washing dishes, and maintaining the cleanliness of shared work and service areas before, during, and after events.
  • Rotate beverage and food products using proper inventory practices and regularly check product dates to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable alcohol service policies and procedures and assist bartenders with beverage service as needed during events.
  • Monitor product levels throughout live events and proactively restock bars and service areas based on anticipated needs.
  • Communicate regularly with bartenders, event staff, and the Food & Beverage Coordinator to identify and respond to product and service needs.
  • Support efficient event operations by anticipating stocking requirements and ensuring bartenders and service staff have the necessary products and supplies throughout the event.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of premium seating areas before, during, and after events.
  • Assist the Food & Beverage Coordinator with preparing, organizing, and fulfilling food and beverage orders for premium suites and hospitality areas.
  • Ensure all suite and premium service orders are accurately fulfilled and fully prepared prior to the start of each event.
  • Work closely with suite servers throughout events to provide support and ensure guest and client needs are met.
  • Assist with post-event cleanup and reset of premium seating areas, suites, and other designated service locations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of venue alcohol service policies and general bartending procedures; assist with beverage service and bartending as needed.
  • Assist with the distribution, setup, movement, and breakdown of food and beverage products, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after events.
  • Provide additional bartending support during periods of high volume or long lines to maintain efficient and timely service.
  • Assist with the fulfillment of hospitality riders for ticketed concerts and special events.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of artist dressing rooms, green rooms, and designated backstage hospitality areas.
  • Prepare and fulfill hospitality rider requests accurately and in a timely manner, including shopping for requested items and setting up dressing rooms and green rooms.
  • Be available during events to respond to backstage hospitality requests and changing needs.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with tour managers, artists' representatives, venue supervisors, and other event personnel to ensure hospitality requirements are met.
  • Monitor hospitality supplies and anticipate additional needs throughout the event.
  • Clean and reset backstage hospitality spaces and properly dispose of or store hospitality items following each event.
  • Maintain accurate records of hospitality inventory, purchases, and shopping receipts.
  • Performs physical and mental demands and work environment requirements for this position.
  • Attendance during regularly scheduled work hours and outside regular hours as necessary.
  • Effective and respectful communication and interactions with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and community customers.
  • Performs other related work as assigned or apparent.
