About The Position
Culinary Cultivations, Grand Rapids' premier service industry staffing team, is hiring experienced Event Servers to join their Event Staffing Team for the upcoming season. They provide professional food service staff to a wide variety of clients throughout Grand Rapids and West Michigan, including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special events. Team members are independent contractors who choose when and where they work based on their availability and the shifts posted each week. Many events take place on Saturdays, with both AM and PM shifts available. Some Saturday availability is a must.
Requirements
- 1+ year of serving experience
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Enjoy event-based work and flexible scheduling
- Want supplemental income based on your availability
- Serving: 1 year
- Food & Beverage Industry: 1 year
Nice To Haves
- Events & Catering experience
- Alcohol Safety Certification (ServSafe, TIPS, or TAMS)
Responsibilities
- Serving guests at catered and special events, corporate dining, and a variety of other food service settings
- Maintaining a polished, professional presence
- Working efficiently in fast-paced event environments
- Communicating clearly with leads, clients, and teammates
- Representing Culinary Cultivations with excellent hospitality
