About The Position

IPS Security is seeking Event Security Guards for the Dreamforce 2026 Corporate Convention in San Francisco. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of attendees, employees, and property at the Moscone Center from September 15th to 17th. The position offers competitive pay, multiple paid breaks, and meals/snacks provided. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment
Must have an ACTIVE BSIS security guard card.
MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Patrol the event premises to ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and property.
Monitor surveillance footage and respond to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
Enforce event policies and procedures.
Assist with the investigation of security-related incidents.
Document and report any security-related incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
