Part Time Concert Security Officer
About The Position
KRE Security, LLC is hiring dependable and professional Event Security & Traffic Control Officers for live events throughout Hershey, PA. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work, extra income, weekend shifts, or a fun side job in an energetic atmosphere, such as students, retirees, or veterans who enjoy live entertainment and large events. This position involves helping to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for guests, performers, staff, and vendors. Responsibilities include assisting with traffic control and pedestrian safety, directing vehicles and foot traffic, monitoring various areas of the event grounds, assisting with crowd management and access control, patrolling venues and parking areas, responding to incidents, providing customer service, enforcing policies, and completing reports.
Requirements
- Reliable, professional, and punctual individuals
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in busy environments
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Previous security, traffic control, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required
- Free in-house flagger certification provided — no experience necessary and no cost to you
Responsibilities
- Help provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for guests, performers, staff, and vendors
- Assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety before and after events
- Direct vehicles and foot traffic safely around busy event areas
- Monitor entrances, exits, backstage areas, and event grounds
- Assist with crowd management and access control during concerts and large events
- Patrol event venues and parking areas
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service and assist attendees as needed
- Enforce venue policies and safety procedures
- Complete basic activity and incident reports
