About The Position

McMenamins is hiring Event Security Staff for its locations. This role involves providing crowd control, security, and ensuring the protection of patrons, stage, and band members during events, including setup and cleanup. Security personnel are responsible for maintaining safety, responding to incidents, and offering customer service. Duties may also include assisting with band load-ins/outs, taking tickets, and customer service for catered or special events. This role requires physical stamina, mental agility, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Obtain and maintain current related certification as necessary
• Previous related experience
• Customer service experience
• Flexible schedule including swing shift, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

Responsibilities

• Providing crowd control
• Providing security
• Ensuring the protection of patrons, stage, and band members during all events including setup and clean up
• Maintaining and effectively responding to any safety issue or crowd control incident that arises
• Providing customer service
• Assisting with band Load-Ins and Loadouts
• Taking tickets from patrons for entry to the Property
• Working in a customer service capacity for catered events or other special events
