About The Position

Armorous Security is hiring Event Security Officers for corporate functions, community events, concerts, and festivals across the North Bay. This role offers a direct path to full-time employment for the right candidate. New hires who join fully BSIS compliant are eligible for a $100 hiring bonus. Full compliance includes a valid BSIS Guard Card, 8-hour initial training certificate, and 32-hour continuing education certificate.

Requirements

• Valid BSIS Security Guard Registration (California)
• 8-hour initial training certificate and 32-hour continuing education certificate
• Availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
• Great Customer Service Skills!
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods across varied terrain
• Strong verbal communication skills and composure in high-energy environments

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of prior security experience
• event or venue background
• CPR and first aid certification

Responsibilities

• Be available for event coverage as needed
• Monitor entry points, perimeters, and interior zones
• Control access and verify credentials at designated checkpoints
• Monitor crowds and identify situations before they escalate
• Respond to guest concerns and incidents with professionalism
• Complete incident reports and activity logs for each assignment
