Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Must have excellent customer service experience
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
Must be computer savvy
Must have a professional demeanor
Must have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable security experience
A valid driver license is strongly recommended
Must have a valid, non-expired guard card/security license

Nice To Haves

Control room experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Provide the basis of a great work environment by treating staff with respect.
Develop/maintain operational procedures and post orders that are always available for emergency reference by staff.
Maintain access control procedures set by building management.
Identify all tenants and/or visitors upon arrival.
Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of building property.
Respond to incidents including property emergencies, escalate notifications per SOPs.
Conduct general patrols of the entire property during various hours, if required, including numerous flights of stairs and frequent patrols of the exterior in any weather conditions.
Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
Assist visitors with directions and general business information.
Clearly and accurately record data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of equipment, to hotel security management.
Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty.
Other duties as assigned.
